New York: Recycling Cooking Oil into Biofuel

Used cooking oil from restaurants is a real problem in New York, which produces it in industrial quantities. It is polluting and tough to dispose of. Several businesses have started to collect the grease from thousands of restaurants, to convert it to biofuel. Cooking oil has even become a sought-after feedstock and is sometimes the object of bidding wars!
