Glossaire :Well [...] Wind energy
- Well (see the French definition )
- A hole for subsoil drilling which is necessary for oil exploration and mining.
- Well doublet (see the French definition )
- A geothermal energy technique. A well doublet involves a pumping well that uses underground warm water. The water cannot then be returned to nature, so it is reinjected into the subsoil by a reinjection well.
- Well log (see the French definition )
- Well logs are the physical measurements carried out in drilling wells. They record the characteristics of the rocks that have been drilled through and the liquids that may cover them.
- Wellhead (see the French definition )
- A kind of large metal block covered with valves that is located at the top of drilled wells. The wellhead valves are used to control the effluents.

- This is energy that is derived from wind power.
